This site is centred around the two themes of competitive cooperation and living with neurodiversity. The theme of competitive cooperation recognizes that we each strike a balance between competition and cooperation whenever we interact with the world or people around us. The theme of neurodiversity recognizes that our minds are uniquely wired, as we each process information in diverse ways.

Alongside these two themes, Daveinstoke uses imagery. The image of a seesaw symbolises the passage of time. We take time to compare, consider or balance our options, leading all possibilities towards choices. The image of a jigsaw symbolises the concept of space. We need space to explore our choices and combine them to create the bigger picture of our lives, piece by piece.

Seesaws and Jigsaws looks for harmony in disputes, beginnings in endings, fairness in division, inclusion in separation, integrity in solidarity and pathways through mazes of darkness. The tales on this site promote mindful silence to replace the clutter of chaotic thinking, calming us with understanding, hope and silence.
